Explore the Detailed Framework of Bryan's Showroom Quality Mobile Detailing's 3-Stage Paint Correction, a premium service designed to rejuvenate your car's appearance to perfection.

Stage 1: Preparation or "Prep

Before embarking on any paint correction journey, a meticulous preparation is essential. Our process begins with a thorough cleaning to eliminate any contaminants that could lead to swirl marks during buffing. We start with a chemical application via foam cannon, followed by a gentle two-bucket hand wash. Compressed air purging and premium microfiber towel drying ensure a pristine surface. Next, we evaluate the contamination level and apply the appropriate claybar treatment to eliminate stubborn impurities. A touchless rewash, purging, and drying follow. Sensitive areas are meticulously masked with masking tape, readying the paint for assessment and machining.

Stage 2: Heavy Defect Removal (Cutting/Buffing)

This is where the magic begins. Depending on the severity of defects, we select either a rotary or dual-action polisher. Rotary machines tackle deep scratches and swirl marks, while dual-action polishers handle mild to moderate imperfections. A heavy cut foam or wool pad accompanies the respective machine, and a heavy cut compound is chosen based on paint condition. We tackle one small section at a time, monitoring the improvement in paint clarity. Once the desired result is achieved, we proceed to cut the entire vehicle, managing one small section at a time. Dust accumulation is common during this step, which is followed by a touchless wash, purging, and drying.

Stage 3: Paint Refinement

In this stage, we aim for paint perfection. Using a dual-action polisher paired with a medium cut pad and compound or polish, we work diligently to bring the paint as close to perfection as possible. A section-by-section approach confirms the right pad and compound selection. Once the desired results are achieved in the test section, we continue refining the remaining panels. If dust accumulates during this process, we perform a rewash.

Stage 4: Final Polish or "Jeweling"

This final paint correction step involves polishing or "jeweling" the paint to enhance gloss and clarity. A finishing foam pad and a fine polish, coupled with a dual-action polisher, are used for this purpose. We work one panel at a time, ensuring no polishing residue remains, resulting in your "Last Stage Product" (LSP).

Stage 5: Protection "Last Stage Product"The last stage involves applying a protective coating to your freshly corrected paint. This protection ranges from 30-day sealants to lifetime ceramic coatings, tailored to your needs and budget. All exterior painted panels receive this safeguarding treatment. Following application, a thorough inspection is conducted, and the vehicle may need to be kept indoors, depending on the sealant, for the coating to cure.

The entire 3-stage paint correction process can vary in duration (8 to 30+ hours) based on the paint's condition. It restores your paint to 95% of its full potential, delivering a showroom-quality finish. Please note that wet sanding of scratches is not undertaken unless approved by the customer and detailer, as it can risk clear coat failure. Rates for a two-step paint correction may differ due to varying paint types and vehicle sizes, and a set price is determined following assessment.

This is an ideal time to consider a ceramic coating, as your paint will be in pristine condition, and with proper care, a ceramic coating can preserve its brilliance for years to come. Trust Bryan's Showroom Quality Mobile Detailing to breathe new life into your vehicle's paintwork.
